Commensurate with the great privileges of being in the ‘Aston Martin Crowd’ come great responsibility – the responsibility to Live Life with elegance and passion. To this end, Aston Martin offers their clientele and potential patrons the ‘Aston Martin Art of Living’ this summer and autumn.
DB11 Tuscan Experience (30th July – 1st August or 1st – 3rd August or 3rd – 5th August 2016.
Perhaps unkindly, I refer to the first event as being the (relative) ‘cheap seats’ at £1,750 (US$2,300) based on two sharing (Single supplement applies).
That buys you one of the most authentic experiences: Driving the new Aston Martin DB11 in Tuscany, Italy. Following the global press launch of the DB11, Aston Martin has a limited number of places to join them in Tuscany to be one of the first to take to the roads in the all-new Aston Martin DB11 prototype.
They say, and I quote: “This experience takes you to the heart of Tuscany, between Siena and Florence, and to Villa Collalto. A rural idyll of olive groves, castles and vineyards, the setting provides the backdrop for an exceptional and luxurious three-day break. There’s no better way to fully get to grips with the world-class driving dynamics of Aston Martin’s all-new DB11 than by exploring the winding routes, hilltop villages and stunning views of Tuscany”.
Sounds like a plan to me!
The elegant 15th century Villa Collalto is only 45 minutes from Florence and looks “proper posh” as we Brits say; an ideal base from which to get to know the surrounding region. The first day of the three-day experience reflects the Italian relaxed way of life, with evening cocktails followed by an informal dinner al fresco on the Villa’s terrace.
Don’t eat too much of the delicious breakfast on the second day because you’ll be hurling around the corners at the wheel of a DB11 to explore true sporting GT style. As one of the first in the world to experience Aston Martin’s new model, you’ll discover how DB11 combines the design and engineering package for an exhilarating driving experience.
Those not participating in the morning driving course are offered a range of activities held at the Villa: cookery and painting classes, as well as yoga and meditation sessions. When the drivers return to the Villa for lunch, everybody can regale themselves with tales of their personal experiences from the morning.
During the afternoon, guests who enjoyed morning activities at the Villa will be invited to drive DB11, while those who already enjoyed their drive will have the chance to experience the activity sessions. It sounds to me like they haven’t got enough cars or driving instructors to cope with one mega-session.
A relaxed breakfast on the third and final day sounds like the perfect way to end this experience, inspired by the beauty and character of Tuscany and the Aston Martin DB11.
Available dates are: 30th July – 1st August 2016, 1st – 3rd August 2016, 3rd – 5th August 2016.
I guess the true cost is higher because you have to get yourself to Tuscany first. So, I was joking when I called this the “cheap seats”. 🙂
The minimum age for participation: 25 years

Week of Aston Martin Madness in Monterey Week (17 – 22 August 2016)
For the ‘expensive seats’ in August – US $10,999 per couple – Bask in the glory of California’s sun-drenched Monterey Peninsula. Join Aston Martin for five days of exclusive experiences to mark Monterey Automotive Week and Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the world’s top-ranking competition for Collector Cars (17 – 22 August 2016).
On day 1, you check into L’Auberge in Carmel; again, what we call “Rightly Proper Posh”. Freshen up quickly for the evening where you can hob-nob with fellow Aston Martin guests and Executives at the Official Welcome Reception.
Either on day 2 or 3, you get to Test any Aston Martin from the 2017 range for handling and performance capabilities on the mountainous roads through the Los Padres National Forest. If not driving, you get leisure time to discover Carmel’s walking trails, or simply do nothing at all! That must be Truly Scrumptious – the most expensive ‘nothing’ money can buy! 🙂
On day 4, you get a special visit to the unique brand experience centre in the heart of Carmel or one of the alternative activities: Cookery Class or Spa Treatment at L’AUBERGE by private appointment through the Aston Martin Experiences Concierge.
Day 5 is the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance: Insider access, fine dining and refreshments throughout the day. If you buy any of the big price ticket cars at auction, this week will get pricier!
After a leisurely breakfast on day 6, you may still be exhausted but replete with enough experiences to see you through to the next Aston Martin Autumn Extravaganza….
