So, with all the jet-setting Lazing and Grazing in exotic locations, how would AlphaLuxe staffers like to travel? Why, in our own ultra-large executive jet, of course. Not for us the plebian commercial airline nor even the baby business jet  🙂

Embraer Executive Jets has been one of the rare success stories out of Brazil with their commercial regional and business jet aircraft. Their ultra-large Lineage 1000E offers five cabin zones in hundreds of configurations. AlphaLuxers love the versatility with low acquisition and operating costs, and the ability to negotiate restrictive airports (Teterboro, Aspen, London City) as well an extended-range capacity of 4,600 nm.

Ultra High Nett Worth folk really hate wasting money so low acquisition and operating costs are major plus points. Time is also Money so the ability to cope with Teterboro airport’s weight restriction, Aspen’s altitude and London City airport’s short take-off and landing restrictions scores “Brownie Points”.

The first Lineage 1000E jet was delivered to His Excellency Aamer Abdul Jalil Al Fahim of Abu Dhabi. The basic price is $53 Million but that is before you add your own personal touches.

Gold-plated Toilets, anyone? 🙂

Embraer has surprised with a revolutionary Kyoto Airship design concept for the Lineage 1000E, featuring expansive glass that floods the luxurious cabin with natural light and offers spectacular panoramic views from every seating position.

The Kyoto Airship design was inspired by a “Japanese challenge” – a hypothetical Japanese customer who might want to sit on the floor instead of a traditional seat. The unique design offers passengers an experience that is similar to traveling on a yacht, rethinking convention with door-sized windows and skylights that arc from the floor to the ceiling.

Jay Beever, Embraer Executive Jets’ Senior Vice President of Interior Design addressed the challenge and collaborated with yacht interior designer Patrick Knowles and Boat International. “The challenge was to prove we could provide a similar design experience to the one you would get when designing a yacht. Designing a motoryacht often allows the owner to customize to the ultimate degree. We feel we can offer a similar experience with the Kyoto airship”.

The team drew upon the technical specifications of a previous “Brazilian Government” ERJ-145 regional jet with large observer windows; I’m reading that as “military jet”.

The usual reasons for small windows are structural integrity of the aircraft wall and excessive weight of hardened glass. However, the large bodywork of the Lineage 1000E means that the large Kyoto window only occupies the space for a normal aircraft door without compromising  structural integrity.

With five cabin zones that can be configured into a multi-cabin lounge, dining area and even a master suite complete with queen-size bed and walk-in shower, you can design your ultimate home away from home.

Embraer Executive Jets is ready to build this extraordinary aircraft for a Lineage 1000E customer who wants to experience the future of private air travel.

“We’ve proven to ourselves that we can make this,” Beever said. “And when a Lineage customer is ready to order this airplane, we will make it.”
