HYT Preciflex Hydromechanic Tecnology

HYT Preciflex

HYT is a Swiss independent watch brand launched in 2012 with an unusual fluid technology that combines mechanics and liquid within a wristwatch. The use of hydromechanics was a first ever in the watch industry and HYT meets with considerable resistance from traditional luxury watch collectors.

What?!  The coloured liquid actually indicates the time and works with the mechanical movement?  That IS different.

As “The cost of true luxury is the choice it affords”, AlphaLuxe brings you news of a new service – HYT Bespoke.

The HYT regular production models are the H1, H2, H3, H4 and Skull models.

HYT Bespoke

For the contrarian horological hedonist, HYT offers the choice of individual expression: the unique, custom piece. During hard economic conditions for the luxury industry, this may be a smart move for a brand without a tradition to uphold. Even choosing the unusual hydromechanics is already an indicator of the brand’s client demographic: Dare to Be Different.

The goal of the HYT Bespoke department is to satisfy the demands of watch aficionados with the sufficient personal creative vision and budget. HYT Bespoke offers solutions ranging from simple personalisation to the creation of ultra-exclusive and unique pieces. All of HYT’s artistic, scientific and technological expertise goes into these one-off creations.
Ironically, the client of the bespoke timepiece must have the time to visit HYT laboratories and creative meetings. Complete confidentiality is guaranteed for those customers who desire it.

The HYT Bespoke department offers two personalisation programmes:

BESPOKE One – Virtually no limits other than the customer’s imagination. This programme has only one goal: to make the customer’s dreams a reality. Personalisation and development of movements, modification of component shapes, materials, glass capillary shape, fluid colours, etc.: all options are available. If the customer wants it and it’s possible, HYT will do it!

BESPOKE Two – This module offers customers the opportunity to personalise the appearance of their HYT by modifying some of the existing components or materials: coatings, materials, engraving, colours are some of the options available.

We employ all of our expertise to meet the exclusive requirements of our customers. Innovation and creativity are our lifeblood. The HYT Bespoke team invents, pushes limits and creates customised solutions based on high-level engineering offering unique aesthetics for owners of HYT watches.” – Gregory Dourde, CEO.

It looks like the two offers are similar to flying First Class and Business Class; still better than being in Coach. Here are the first two Bespoke creations.
