News for your Nails!
In the beauty world one will often hear, “hair is your most important accessory.” This is true, but I’d say, nails and skin are definitely a close second. For nail lacquer, nothing exists in the market that measures up to Smith & Cult.
Dineh Mohajer and Jeanne Chavez were creators of Hard Candy, (acquired by LVMH in 1999,) and Disney Couture (grabbed by Limited Brands almost immediately after launch early this millennium). Smith & Cult, created by Dineh Mohajer and starring the business expertise of Jeanne Chavez (appointed President in 2015), is the newest creation, and in my opinion, the most breathtaking to date.
You may wonder, “How does a person get so excited about a nail polish?”
Trust me, it’s possible and in this case — a warranted excitement.
Smith & Cult is “8-free,” meaning all of the bad chemicals viz. Dibutyl Phthalate, Toluene, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor, Xylene, Ethyl Tosylamide or Triphenyl Phosphate are not in it. Yet, in comparison with other polishes in this category, the texture is that of a lacquer, the shine is ‘on-point’ and the longevity of the formula is amazing.
What does this mean for me, and so many other nail enthusiasts?
Simply put: those of you who chip a regular “mani” within the first day or so of a manicure, may be opting for the more expensive but longer lasting “gel” manicure. While that gel looks ‘fierce’, for some people, the constant use of gel can be harder on the nails due to the thickness of the polish.
Enter the formulation of Smith & Cult, where you can switch to a regular manicure but use nail polish that lasts longer without the possibility of damage.
Any beauty brand that comes up with an unexpected “wow” packaging will not only catch my eye, but also become part of my beauty bag, at least once.
The packaging look like “little pots of happiness”. I’m not even kidding. Beautiful colors in clear, circular jars with the shiniest metal caps I’ve ever seen. The shiny metal twists off to a more traditional black handle for ease of application of the product.
The cost of one jar is $18.00.
How can you beat that for beautiful nail happiness?
Visit www.smithandcult.com and prepare to have your digits “wowed”.
