Marie France van Damme Luxury Resort Wear

Since we started following ‘Marie France Van Damme Luxury Resort Wear’, the brand has stayed true to its Luxury Lifestyle theme with a collection of “day to night pieces for the woman who lives and travels the world in style”, albeit biased towards holiday wear.

I thought we should go straight to their “Wow Pieces” with matching “Wow Prices”. They all have something “metallic” in the look…

Metallic French Lace Hammer Kurta Dress $1,500

Metallic French Lace Hammer Kurta Dress (Argent) MF3404-08

The metallic hammer kurta dress is made from the intricate crafted french lace for that luxury look. Although there is no actual metal thread in the fabric, the 69% Nylon, 31% Polyester mix makes for a shimmer that only has to be dry-cleaned.  It comes in two colours: Argent Silver or Gold.

The split neckline and three-quarter sleeves are an easy-to-wear outfit, day or night.

Floral Racer Back Sun Dress $1,500

Floral Racer Back Sun Dress MF4151-09

This is a statement piece in a racer back design that will turn heads because of the bold, silver floral print. The fabric is 72% Silk / 28% Metallic to justify inclusion in the metallic theme.

For ease of wear, the V-neckline modern racerback with sleeveless, cut-in shoulders allow simple pullover style for a slim column silhouette. The midi-length hem provides cool elegance.

Garden Racer Back Sun Dress $1,500

Along the same theme, this racer back dress is crafted in the softest crinkle silk chiffon with luxurious jacquard rose details and ombre-dyed fabric of 58% Silk and 42% Metallic Woven.

You should look and feel fabulous in this black-silver, high neckline modern racerback with sleeveless cut-in shoulders. Yes, that pullover style, slim column silhouette with midi-length look is again the Summer.

Racer Back Rose Lurex Sun Dress $1,250

“Lurex!” Even the sound of it evokes a frisson of naughtiness.
This white-silver, racer back dress is made from the softest slightly crinkle silk chiffon with luxurious jacquard rose details. The 66% Silk 34% Lurex fabric tailored with a high neckline modern racerback style and sleeveless cut-in shoulders gives that all important slim, column silhouette again.

You can pair it with a short jacket or be daring to expose your shoulders and back when naughty…..

AlphaLuxe Comment

It’s Summer time again and the theme is Golden Sun and Sand with metallic overtones. “Each piece is designed with versatility in mind; from an afternoon at the beach to an evening out, each silhouette is carefully considered with pieces that are wearable, yet alluring.”

Read that as “flattering to all body shapes and types”.
